Ear and nose probrem

I went to hospitaltoday.  I have difficulty in hearing the left ear.  The doctor said that it was allergic.  At the same time, surgery is necessary because the bones of the nose are curved.  I am concerned about how much it affects the taste sensation, smell, and vocal cords.
